FEES

Fees are $220.00 per hour session according to the Psychologists Association of Alberta fee 2023 schedule. Fees are $190 per session for Social Worker Therapy sessions.

Alberta Health Care does not provide coverage for psychological services.  However, Blue Cross and most other group insurance plans provide partial or complete coverage.  Check with your employer's insurance plan for details.  Subsidized insurance is also available via Blue Cross.

Motor Vehicle accident victims are often eligible for funding to provide therapy through their motor vehicle insurance companies under Section B Funding: Accidents.

At present, direct billing is available for Blue Cross members and those covered under the Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan.

Please confirm the requirements and limits of your insurance coverage before making your appointment. Usually, all you need is a printed receipt displaying a valid certification number. Some agencies require a physician's (general practitioner, or medical doctor) referral/prescription before they will reimburse you.

Psychological services are also tax deductible as a medical expense on your income tax. No G.S.T. is charged.
